Welcome to the South Loop

Something for everyone

Welcome to the South Loop. The fast-growing South loop neighborhood is a modern, stylish commuter haven of new construction residential high rises, lavish townhomes, and rehabbed warehouse lofts alongside the Museum Campus just South of the Loop. South Loop includes the smaller neighborhoods of Dearborn Park, Printer's Row, Prairie District, and Central Station.

Public transportation is easy: the South Loop has access to Red, Green and Orange line CTA trains, as well as the Metra light rail stations. There are also many buses, which traverse the neighborhood.

Perfect for those who: work in the Loop, and want a more relaxed environment and newer units than the Loop, and a more mellow atmosphere than River North and hipper than Streeterville.

What it is like to live in the South Loop: An easy commute into the Loop or River North means less time wasted traveling every day. Instead, spend time at quiet coffee shop, stroll along the river at Ping Tom Park, grab a drink at one of a number of local bars and restaurants. The South Loop tends to be less packed with tourists than the Loop itself, and business centered more around residents than commuters.
